* Daechupbi : Treasure No. 571
Daechupbi(a monument for the great victory
of admiral Yi) was dedicated to Admiral Yi-Sunsin in 1620 (the
22nd year
after his death) to commemorate his great
victory against
Japan.
The inscription of Daechupbi, written by Lee-Hangbok,
prime minister of Choson Dynasty, was described all the process
of Imjinwaeran.
* The Pavilion for Daechupbi Monument
The Pavilion for Daechupbi(a monument for
the great victory of Admiral Yi) is located at the foot of Go-so
hill of Mt. ke-san( Hen mountain). Goso hill was once a command
post during the Japanese invasion to korea in the year of Imjin
(1592).
There are two monuments, one is Daechupbi(Treasure
No.
571) and the other is Tarubi(Treasure No.
571).
